Fireproof stone, or refractory brick is a material of refractory material with elements of Alumina and silica which are used to coat the furnace, kiln (combustion), and other fire chambers. Fireproof bricks are built primarily to withstand high temperatures, but must also have low thermal conductivity to save energy. Fireproof brick is a material that is able to maintain its strength at high temperatures until it is above 1,000 degrees F. Fireproof materials are generally used in layers for furnaces, kilns, incenerators and reactors.
Construction needs in the modern era now provide many new products. Like, for example, refractory bricks which are new innovations from bricks. Fireproof brick is able to withstand fire so that it prevents fires or does not absorb large amounts of heat from outside. The process of making refractory bricks uses a special oven and is processed for a long time so that it can withstand high temperatures.
